Thanks to the initiative of the Health, Beauty and Wellness Tourism Product Club of Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza "Ibiza Health & Beauty" and the funding of the Consell d'Eivissa, the island is highlighting the high quality of its spas and wellness services. Six of Ibiza's best hotels and numerous celebrities have taken part in the action, supporting a healthy lifestyle and tourism.
Wellness tourism is one of the fastest growing in Ibiza and continues to be one of the favourite destinations for it, both for primary tourism in search of a holiday that promotes wellbeing through the many qualities and offers available on the island, and for the enjoyment of the complementary wellness and beauty services offered by many of our hotels.
An example of this are the 6 magnificent Hotels with Spa that have participated in this promotional action that promotes our best spas and wellness brand of Ibiza in the celebration of the Global Wellness Day. The event unites these Spas in a joint action that gives all their customers that day with a special gift as a supplement in the treatment, a fruit juice or a gift of their products. Among them, the actress Ana Vide, the choreographer and dancer Gala Robles, the stock market consultant and great sportsman Josef Ajram, the DJ and beauty expert Sylvia Operé, the wellness events producer Eli García, the coaches Jessica García Be Your Balance, Paco de a Fuente and Yolanda Torres, and the sports journalist and director of Sports & Style Carme Barceló. The founder of Global Wellness Day, Belgin Aksoy, has always believed that living well is a basic need for every human being on the planet. In 2012 she wondered why, if health is one of the most important issues in our lives, we did not have a special day dedicated to living well.
