Last Saturday 24th of July the Club de Producto de Fomento del Turismo de la isla de Ibiza de salud, belleza y bienestar 'Ibiza Health and Beauty' celebrated in the Parque Ibiza Botánico Biotecnológico the 2nd Jornada de Belleza y Bienestar de Ibiza together with the best local cosmetic firms of Ibiza and great professionals who gave different Masterclasses throughout the morning to learn how to take care of our skin in a natural way.
The conference was a great success with 50 attendees in person and almost 2000 views on Streaming, where participants from different places outside our borders were also able to attend online and can still be seen on the TV Channel of our website.
The event opened with César Mayol from Ibizaloe, who explained the properties of "Pure regenerating Aloe Vera gel, extraction and uses". After his speech, we were able to take a guided tour of the Ibiza Botanical Biotechnological Botanic by its founder Eduardo Mayol, where we learned about the benefits of Ibizan plants, a tour that can also be done virtually from their website.
Next, Isabel Dumas from Ibiza Softens Age showed us the "Elaboration of natural cosmetics with extracts of Ibizan plants", with an artisanal process that allows us to easily extract the hydrolat of plants such as lavender and rosemary and its use as a tonic or as a base for other products.
After the break, the great Fitness Youtuber Susana Yábar, representing Atzaro Spa Products, taught us how to exercise our facial muscles with a "Yoga and Facial Gymnastics" class that helps us to keep our skin smooth and toned. Susana supported the island's cosmetics with her more than 5 million followers.
Next, the well-known firm Campos de Ibiza, with the help of its owner and perfumer Aurélie Kahn, delighted us with an "Olfactory sensory workshop with natural essences" where we learned how to create our own perfume, with natural ingredients that the island offers, such as citrus fruits or roses.
And to close the event, the firm Ibiza Posidonia and its technical director Beatriz Juan taught us different techniques of "Preventive facial self-massage" to delay the ageing of our skin, together with the properties of natural anti-ageing cosmetics.
The attendees followed all the classes with great interest and were also able to purchase these products at a flea market offered by the event.
Ibiza has a splendid and varied nature from which we can learn about its properties and peculiarities that make it unique in the Ibiza Botanical Biotechnological Botanic. Properties that our firms also know how to take advantage of and thanks to which we can enjoy the natural care of our skin. Thanks to these initiatives promoted by Fomento del Turismo de la Isla de Ibiza and the Consell d'Eivissa. Ibiza is health.
